We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2022, at the age of 86, Barbara Mansell Coats of Mount Olive, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Mansell and Gladys Mansell (James Coats); her daughter Deborah Thompson; her sister Patricia Smith; her siblings-in-law, Eva Mansell and Frank Ling; and her pets, Pepper, Daisy and Abby.
She is survived by: her sons, David Coats (Cheryl) of High Point and Mike Coats (Alice) of Bonaire, Georgia; her grandchildren, Ashley Mintz (Josh), Josh Coats (Meredith), Andrew Coats (Holly), Caroline Coats, Emily Coats, Jenny Bailey (Joey) and Amy Crawford; her great grandchildren, Joseph Bailey, James Bailey and Jonah Crawford; her siblings, Donald Mansell of Bushnell, Betty Ling of Micanopy and Phillip Mansell of Oxford, Georgia.; and her husband James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
