He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Lee Bass Jr. and Doris Jean Ezzell; his wife Gloria Lynette Ezzell; his children, Deshaun Barfield (Reshika) and Lakita Brodie (Marcus); his grandchildren, Jaida, Sarah, My'Kel, Makayla, Khloe, Elijah and Emery; his siblings, Ruthie Bailey, Shaunita Ezzell, Rodney Bass (Janet), Von Bass, Keisha Andrews, Tarsha Bass and Alfonza Robinson (Tekelia); his aunts, Bernestine West, Helen Powell and Minnie Pearsall; his brothers-in-law, Willie Barfield and Milford Barfield Jr. (Debbie); his son Marquis Ezzell; his brothers, Terry Ezzell and Kwaski Bass; and his grandparents, Rellie and Ruth Ezzell.
