She was predeceased by: her parents, Nattie Barefoot (Nessie Brock Barefoot) and Annie; her husband Alvin Harris; her son Linwood Harris; and her siblings, Louise Hargrave, Alice Jarvis (Junior), Pearl McCullen (Robert), Earl Barefoot, Nona Belle Thompson (George), Jackie Barefoot, Stuart Barefoot and Glinda Harkett (Mike).
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Thornton (Tony); her grandson Derrick Barefoot; her brother Larry Gene Barefoot; and her sisters-in-law, Miriam Barefoot, Margie Harris, Hazel Mills and Dean Weaver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
