Yates Springs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yates Springs of Mount Holly, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Junius Springs and Edna Lentz Springs; and his siblings, Mary Edna Dixon, Mary Catherine Reep, William, Paul and Edwin.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Kendrick Springs; his children, Greg Springs (Sarah), Kathy Springs Jones (David) and William Springs (Tina); his grandchildren, Ashley Jones Gammon (Gary), Adam Springs (Danielle), Regan Springs Verchick (Pierce), Noah Springs and Luke Springs; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Tatum Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Woodlawn Haven Residents' Loving Care Fund, The Community Relief Organization of Mount Holly, Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County, and/or The First Presbyterian Church of Mount Holly.
