It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Lynn Gavel (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilbert Xavier Gavel and Wilma Ruth (Giddens); and her siblings, Jean Cox, Robin Lund, Polly Nipper and Raymond Gavel.
She is survived by: her brothers, Hib Gavel of Warner Robins, GA, Alan Gavel of Tampa, FL, Frank Gavel (Chesapeake Beach, MD) and John Gavel of Blairsville, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
