We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2021, at the age of 93, Velda Ira Vause of Mount Holly, North Carolina, born in Cherokee, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Trantham and Martha Gertrude Quinn Trantham; her husband Curtis Eugene Vause; her daughter Martha Belcher; her siblings, Ethel Ledford, Edith Cochran, Clyde King, Ernest Trantham, Coot Trantham, Willard Trantham, Wink Trantham and Wayne McAlister; and her sons-in-law, Randy Lanham and Deryl Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Lanham, Marie Simpson, Joe Vause (Wanda) and Daniel Vause (Annette); her pet Lucy; and her son Deputy Chief Brian Reagan (Angie).
