He is survived by: his wife Linda Craft Cardwell; his children, Brett Armstrong (Nicole) and Trey Armstrong (Michele); his grandchildren, Kera Barlow (Austin), Nick Gwinn, Jay Gwinn, Hannah Armstrong, Matthew Barrett and Brianna Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Nick Gwinn, Jr. and Jaxon Barrett; and his brother William Cardwell (Lynne).
