He is survived by: his wife Laura Ann Cabble Thompson; his sons, Jason Thompson (Michelle Chamberlain) and Tyler Thompson (Noelle); his grandsons, Lucas Anderson and Leo Thompson; and his siblings, Peter, James, Kevin Thompson and Margaret Thompson Marshall.
