She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Hollifield and Estelle Hollifield; her husband Bill Odom; and her siblings, Geneva Mason, Frances Hollifield, Eula Hoppes, James Hollifield and Georgie Hall.

She is survived by: her son Eric Lewis of Mount Holly; her grandson Nicholas Lewis of Stanley; her brothers, Donald Hollifield (Ellen) and Jearl Hollifield of Marion; and her close friend Kim Shannon of Gastonia. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
