It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Eckard (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Everette Eckard. She is survived by: her children, Gene Eckard (Rachel), Peggy Ann Ward (Ernest), Sue Mauldin (Terry) and Terry Eckard (Tracy); her grandchildren, Dawn Massie, Mellissa Robinson, Karen Kalinoski, Jean West, Beth Garris, Tim Brown and Scott Brown; her great grandchildren, Jason Jackson, Trevor Robinson, Austin Robinson, Bradley Kalinoski, Kori West, Kenzie Garris, Sarah Cossette, Emma Brown and Rylan Brown; and her great great grandchildren, Hunter Jackson and Kaelyn Jackson.
