It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Eudy Sloop of Mount Holly, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Segal Eudy and Lucille Eudy; her husband Donald E. Sloop; and her brothers, Grady Eudy and Curtis Eudy.
She is survived by: her children, Donald A. Sloop (Laura) and Bobbie Hatcher (Frank); her siblings, Barbara Slack (Mickey), Evelyn Miller and Gene Eudy; her grandchildren, April Sloop, Tricia McQueen (Chris), Brooke Hatcher (Kaiser) and Kyle Hatcher (Campbell); and her great grandchildren, Jesse Bellflower (Delaney), James and Sadie McQueen. She is also survived by mother, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Benson Funeral Services (101 Oak Grove St, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
