He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Stump" Braswell and Martha Wright Braswell; his wife Janice Pridmore Braswell; and his son Kelly Scott Braswell. He is survived by: his granddaughter Frances Hannah Braswell; and his cousin Glenn "Buddy" Wright.
