He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Agnes Dupal Lucas; his wife Judith Gail Bollard Lucas; and his siblings, Marion Zaebst, Margaret Kiggins and John Lucas.
He is survived by: his father Andrew John; his daughters, Linda McCurdy (Bert) of Mount Holly, NC, Lisa Pawlowski of Columbus Georgia and Lori Stroud (David) of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Katelyn Miller (Ryan), Tyler McCurdy (Sheila) of Belmont, NC, Emily McCurdy (Zach Danielsen) of Mint Hill, NC and Landon Stoud of Clayton, NC; his great grandchild Lillian Jane Miller of Norwalk, CT; and his sisters, Bernadine Miltner and Helen Wentink. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
