He is survived by: his wife Dondra Hinson Ballard of Mount Holly; his children, Laura Jean Ballard, Macy Elizabeth Ballard and Scott Ballard of Charlotte; his grandmother Ellen Friday Ballard of Stanley; his brothers, Eric Ballard of Stanley and Mike Ballard of Vale; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Ballard, Mindy Ballard, Erica Ballard and Huston Ballard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church of Stanley, 217 N. Main Street, Stanley, NC 28164, designated for the food pantry.
