It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Marlene Wallace Huggins (Mount Holly, North Carolina), who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cornwell and Annie Mae Baker Wallace; her husband Richard Lee Huggins; her son James Carl Huggins; and her brothers, Lewis, Wayne and Parks Wallace.
She is survived by: her friend Marlene; her son Stacy Lee Huggins; her nephew Lawrence Randall Hilliard (Mary); her daughter-in-law Sharon Bumgardner Huggins (James Carl); her grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Huggins, Mark James Huggins, Amanda Huggins O'Brien (Jonathan), Andrew Stacy Huggins (Abigail) and Melissa Ann Huggins; her great grandchildren, Jaden Huggins, Aoife Spoto, Violet and Gemma O'Brien; her siblings-in-law, Edward Huggins and Anne Huggins; and her friend Jacqueline Jenson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, adopted family.
