He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Roxie Randolph and Grady "Slim" Jackson; his wife Ruth "Sissy" Moose Jackson; and his siblings, JoAnn Jackson Ballard and Raymond "Doug" Jackson.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Grady Jackson of Troutman and Johnny Ray Jackson (Melondy) of Lowell; his grandson Timothy Paul Jackson; his brother Billy Ray Jackson of Waleska; his father-in-law Larry Ray Robinette of Belmont; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Robinette, Kenny Moose of Belmont and Wayne Moose of Riverview. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
