We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2023, at the age of 83, Paul Anthony Hovis of Mount Holly, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Luther Hovis and Eunice Davis Hovis; his grandchildren, Tasha Danielle Hovis, Andrew Christopher Hovis and Collin Jacob Hovis; and his siblings, Frances Beard and Steve Hovis.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Hovis (Lisa), Mark Hovis (Donna), Chris Hovis (Dori) and Stephen Hovis; his grandchildren, Bobby Mulwee, Pam Gaff (Justin), Mark Hovis, Jr., Amber Brafford (Matthew), Christopher Hovis, Jr., Hannah Hovis, Casey Hovis, Zaydee Brewer, Hadlee Brewer, Kylie Melius, Aubrey Melius, Noel Hartsell, Malachi Hartsell and Callie Moore (Danny); and his sister Helen Whitesides. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
