It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nettie Ruth Ridge of Mount Holly, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Vertis Summey and Pearl Welch Summey. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Wayne Ridge; her sons, Dennis Ridge, Jr., Devin Ridge (Rebecca) and Duane Ridge (Paula); her grandchildren, Audrey, Dennis, III, Abigail, Mason, Aaron, Ryan, Callan and Merryn; her sister Martha Jean McIntosh (Maurice); her nephews, Ben McIntosh and Michael McIntosh (Allison); her great-niece Maggie; and her great-nephew Chase.
