He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Jackie Dowell Garland; his sister Laura Michelle Garland; his grandparents, Nathan and Ada Garland; his wife Deborah Shope Garland; his father William Nathan Garland Jr.; his daughter Melissa Holder (Josh); his stepchildren, Lee Spirlin, Justin Spirlin and Elizabeth Lineman (Jimmy); and his siblings, Lisa Garland and Kenneth Garland. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
