She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Moody Everhard and Alma Allen Everhart; and her husband Richard Byrd Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Donald Allen Thompson and Susan Lynne Malcolm Thompson; her grandchildren, Jami Erin Malcolm Liebl (Jason), Lauren Thompson Malcolm Hellberg (Matthew), Joanna Kaitlyn Thompson Sjoberg (Christian), Meagan Elizabeth Thompson and Taylor Leeann Penson Thompson; and her brother Tommy Lee Everhart of Lucia, NC.. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
