She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Mosley and Julia Garrett Love Mosley; her husband Buddy Abernathy; her siblings, Ivey Hawes, Margie Green, Elsie Smith, Everette, Robert, Marshall, Earnest, Harold and James Mosley; her children, Steven Abernathy (Melissa) and Teresa Hosseini; and her sister Dorothy Turner.
