It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Payne (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ozell Dean Thomas; and her brother Jeffery Hoyle Thomas. She is survived by: her son Brandon Payne (Summer); her grandson Joshua Revels; and her brother Kelly Thomas (Jerri). She is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles.
