With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maynard Humphries (Mount Holly, North Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Cora Roberson; his wife Dora Jane Owens Humphries; and his siblings, Lettie Bailey, Mettie Greene Mathis, Phyrnia Biddix, Pearlie Sisk Martin and J. C. Humphries.
He is survived by: his parent Gaither Humphries; his children, Rick Humphries (Tina) of Stanley, Judy Humphries of Stanley, Gary Humphries (Julie) of Lucia and Paula Robb (Michael) of Stanley; and his grandchildren, Marc Humphries, Matthew Combs, Mary Ballard, Amy Brewer, John Humphries, Cora Robb and Sarah Robb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
