She is survived by: her husband Stephen Douglas Gates, Sr.; her children, Lisa McCutcheon (Sid), Stephen Douglas Gates, Jr., Laura Gurley and Darrin Gates (Nalani); her grandchildren, Kristen Maxwell, Amy Hutto, Stephen Gates, Victoria Alexander (Christian), Dakota Perry, Brianna Gurley Bryant (Christopher), Ciarra Gurley, Caden Gates and Chaz Gates; her great grandchildren, Kian, Grace, Everly, Jonah, Aiden, Aria and Grayson; and her siblings, Eric Lingerfelt (Pat) and Janice Fulford. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
