It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Sue Sawyer of Mount Holly, North Carolina, born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Moss and Viola Davis Moss; her husband Bradford "Brad" Wilson Sawyer; her son-in-law Wayne Lingerfelt; and her sisters, Louise McGraw, Betty Jo Henson, Jeanette Caldwell and Mary Blake.

She is survived by: her children, Vicky Lingerfelt, Brad Sawyer (Kathy) and Bruce Sawyer (Debra); and her sister Diane Mullis. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
