It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ruth (Clarke) Anthony of Mount Holly, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney Anderson Anthony, Jr.; her parents, Lorina Queen Clarke (Ferguson) and Samuel Alexander Clarke; her son Sidney Anderson Anthony III; her sisters, Betty Lou Newell and Gail Linda Cloninger; and her niece Diane Beason Phifer.
She is survived by: her son Randy Lee Anthony of Charlotte, NC; and also, Rev. Phillip Anthony of Venice, FL and Malcom "Mickey" Anthony of Winter Haven, FL.
