She was predeceased by: her parents, John Keziah and Cimille Deese Keziah; her husband Merlin Eugene Brown; her son Gary Lynn Brown; and her brothers, Tommy Keziah, Bobby Keziah and Eddie Keziah.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Brown (Donna) and Pamela Brown Skidmore; her grandchildren, Kathryn Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Joshua Brown (Taylor), Leyna Brown, Jessica Clemmer (Joseph) and Mark T. Hoover, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Layla, Alina, Mauer, Harlan, Niall, Jovie and Kollins; her close friend Peggy Lanier; and her pet Mister. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
