She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gowens and Sadie Roy Gowens; and her husband Vernon Heffner. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Heffner of Mount Holly and Bonnie Winkler (Gary) of Mount Holly; her sister Joan Brown (Boyce); her grandchildren, Danielle Johnson (James Smith), James Paxton (Tyler King) and Tristin Winkler; and her great grandchildren, Izaiah Clubb, Jayden Smith and Ayva. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
