It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katy Diane Tilton (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gamble and Ruth Pierson Gamble; her husband Steve Wayne Tilton; and her sister Caroline. She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth, Charlie, Eddie, Buddy, Lucy and Betty; her daughters, Sandra Tilton and Paulette Heavener; her son-in-law Greg; her grandchildren, Brandon Heavener, Bradley Heavener, Bryan Heavener, Stephen Scott (Rose), Dustin Scott and Additionally; and her great grandchildren, Maci Scott and Walter Scott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
