He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Dyer Sr. and Joan Annette Dyer (Matteo); and his brother John Joseph Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Haslett Dyer; his children, Joseph J. Dyer III (Daniela) of Austin, TX and Jessica Rose of Charlotte, NC.; and his siblings, Debra McGowan and Thomas Dyer.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held in NJ at a later date.
