Gibson and Ollie McCorkle of Mt. Holly; his sons, Bishop Rodney McCorkle of Dillon, Cedric McCorkle of Charlotte and Johnny McCorkle, Jr. (Andrea) of Spring, Texas; his aunts, Eliza Gibson of Lowesville, NC and Ella Anderson of Lowesville, NC; and his brother-in-law Gene Gibson. He was also cherished by many children and grandchildren that he has been a father.
