With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Bishop (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Adcock and Era Walls Adcock; her husband Troy Calvin Bishop; and her siblings, Billy, Earl, Robert, Dorothy and Era Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Bishop (Connie) and Amy Brown (Richard); her grandchildren, Tara Bishop, Shelia Brown (Rick) and Chris Brown (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Zane, Kasay, Madelyn, Keegan and Avie; and her parents-in-law, Darlene Cope, Tonda Mathis (John), Sylvia Hellard (Fred), Jerry Bishop (Shirley) and Charles Bishop. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
