He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross H. Ferrell and Edith Pruett Ferrell; and his siblings, Jeanette Lovvorn, Beulah Jordan and Maurice "Bo" Ferrell.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Randy Ferrell (Lori), Reggie Ferrell (Robin) and Kevin Ferrell (Christine); and his grandchildren, Christina Nelms (Brandon), Aaron Ferrell (Allison) and Chad Ferrell. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
