He is survived by: his wife Katherine Shires Wilson of Mount Holly, NC; his son Jack Wilcox Wilson, III; his daughter-in-law Nancy; his brother Richard Lee Wilson (Teresa) of Wilmington, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Vickie S. Jenkins, Kenneth Shires (Pat), James Shires and Benny Shires (Edith). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
