He was predeceased by: his wife Earlene Lindsay Massey; his parents, Henry Hazel and Myrtle Mae Massey; and his siblings, Hazel Barnett and Donald Massey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dian Ross, Connie Bradburn (Rex), Margaret Massey, Karen Smith (Mark) and Wendy Yow; and his nephew Tim Massey (Janie Black). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
