She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Butler Turney and Clinnie McGee Turney; her husband Marion K. Sims; her son Charles E. Moss, Jr. (Eddie); and her siblings, Violet Jenkins and Clarence Barber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Dogan of High Point, NC and Lynn; her son-in-law Danny Brown of Gaffney, SC; her grandchildren, Austin Harris (Anorine) of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica Dogan (Mike) of Archdale, NC and Mackenzie Dameron of Kings Mountain, NC; and her niece Glenda Craig (Roy) of Medford, OR..
