He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Poindexter Sr. (Connie Dale Poindexter) and Gene; and his siblings, Marty Poindexter Jr., Kenneth Poindexter, Michael Poindexter and Mary Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Watkins Poindexter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Benson Funeral & Cremation Services (101 Oak Grove St, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
