He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin F. Seeger and Edith Kuechenmeister Seeger; his daughter Susan Seeger; and his sister Edith Mae Seeger. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Seeger; his daughter Donna; his son-in-law Allen Jones; his sisters, Jeannie Allgauer and Bonnie Schoales; and his grandchildren, Kirstie, Rebecca and Jacob. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
