It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dustin Thomas Mertz (Mount Holly, North Carolina), who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather James Mertz. He is survived by: his son Grayson Thomas Mertz; his grandmother Megan Burgess; his parent Bentlee Tomas Mertz; his sister Krista Scholl; his mother Janet Mertz Royal; his aunts, Donna Bedenbaugh, Veronica Mertz and Cindy Mertz; his uncle Mike; and his cousins, Katie, John Bedenbaugh and Eva Killman Cooper.
