She was predeceased by: her parents, James Granville White and Grace Austin White; and her husband James Dale Stroupe. She is survived by: her daughter Jana Newsom (Gary); and her siblings, Ardith Pennell, Charlie White, Howard White, Margaret Jones, Nancy Hall, Alice Woodridge and Lee White.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Chapel (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Forest Lawn West Cemetery (4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208).
