It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Smith of Mount Holly, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Neal Rumple and Jessie Batten Rumple; her husband Donald Lenwood Smith; and her siblings, Mary Catherine Herman, Jack, Ray and Joe Rumple.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Smith (Mary Beth), Bryan Smith and Chuck Smith (Amy); her grandchildren, Amy Lynch (Tim), Stevie Bond (Nathan), Elizabeth Tackett, Jordon Smith (Katie), Hunter Smith and Carson Smith; and her siblings, Richard Rumple (Barbara), Betty Ann Hunt, Buddy Rumple (Linda) and Frankie Rumple (Patsy).
