Doris Collis Pittman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 96, Doris Collis Pittman (Mount Holly, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Earl Collis and Allie Dale Collis; her husbands, Virgil Robert McKinney and Jay W. Pittman; her son Joel Robert McKinney; and her siblings, Edith Pitman, Marie Glenn, Nell Howell, Everett, Ray and Johnny Collis.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Stewart (Charles); and her stepson Jerry Pittman. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
