He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Groezinger and Helen Groezinger; his wife Carol Groezinger; and his brothers, William and Robert Groezinger.

He is survived by: his children, John "Chip" Groezinger (Lisa) and Sue Fletcher (Ben Feliciano); his grandchildren, Max Fletcher, Matthew Fletcher (Sierra Blake) and Allison Pruett; and his great grandchild Myles Fletcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
