He is survived by: his parents, Reginald Dean and Doris Barton Whitesides; his sister Regina King (Caleb); his grandmother Myrtle Crisp; his nieces and nephews, Chloe King, Journey King and Parker King; and his stepchildren, Preston Dockery and Raelyn Dockery. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
