He is survived by: his sons, David Mitchem, Jr. (Jackie), Chris Mitchem and Michael Mitchem (Rita); his grandchildren, Shelby Mitchem, Peyton Mitchem, Lee Mitchem (Hannah), Sheay Mitchem, Braden Mitchem, Haily Stephenson, Cason Mitchem, Chuck Deaton, Amber Deaton and Stephanie Evans; his great grandchildren, Francis, Easton, Layla, Adriana, Nathaniel, Andrew, Zachariah, Jordan, Naomi, Braden and Ansley; and his siblings, Darlene Holloman (Gary), Tina Tessenar (Mike), Bobby Mitchem (Donna) and Danny Mitchem. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
