He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Griggs Sr. and Betty McGowan Holmes; and his sisters, Jan Hendrickson and Carol Ann Griggs. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Griggs; his daughters, Susan Fleming (Mark) and Tammy Caldwell (Jim); and his sisters, Judy Carias and Sissy Hendrickson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Benson Funeral and Cremation Services (101 Oak Grove St, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
