We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 69, Carol Hockersmith (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwyn Daniel and Carolyn Daniel; her daughter Cathy Jean Hockersmith; and her siblings, Cathy Lynn Daniel, D. D. Daniel and Arthur Daniel.
She is survived by: her husband Carmen Hockersmith; her children, Daniel Hockersmith (Lauren), Cora St. Clair (Jeffrey Moss), April Dawn Pina (Jeffrey Crane) and Lisa Macario; and her brother Freddy Daniel (Rhonda).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jeanie's honor to Tri County Animal Rescue, 3326 Al Hager Ln, Iron Station, NC 28080, a charity close to her heart.
