It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Elmore (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geroge Hart Sr. and Susan Dellinger Hart; her husband Robert Elmore; and her brother George Hart, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Karen Cook, David Elmore (Paula) and Penny Peterson (Mike); her sister Linda Russ; and her grandchildren, Christie Pistolis (Gus), Sherry Whitley, Holly Murray (Damon), David Elmore, Michael Elmore, Adam Lanier and Adriene (Steven). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
