With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Clyde Harkey of Mount Holly, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Graham Harkey and Lannie Abernathy Harkey; and his siblings, Jo Rita Harkey and Houston P. Harkey. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hart Harkey; and his brother Wayne N. Harkey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
