It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hartness (Mount Holly, North Carolina), born in Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Peggy Stamey, Joe Sims and Ernest Sims. She is survived by: her significant other Calvin Thomas; her children, Ronnie Stowe (Vanessa) of Stanley, Johnny Stowe (Tammy) of Mt, Donnie Stowe (Wanda) of Charlotte, Mike Stowe (Cathy) of Mt, Debbie Watson of Mount Holly and Sandy Gantz of Gastonia; and her sister Jenny Steele (Allen) of Chester, SC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
